"Arco Norte" Toll Road

A Milestone into the Future of ITS

Americas Resources was appointed to design, integrate and deploy the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) for this mega project. Arco Norte is a toll road infrastructure mega project that runs for 223 km. throughout 4 states around the northeast of Mexico City. All aspects of this project were carefully planned, designed and built to world class standards including its Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in control of communications, information, surveillance and road safety.

Felipe Calderon, president of Mexico along with the Secretary of Transportation and Governors of the 4 states which are linked by the Arco Norte, made a supervision visit to the Control Center.
